Hello Everyone,
As you'll see in the photos of the Gerston Girls this month, they both seem to have grown up a lot...must be the return of the rains. Molly is sitting up and actually threatening to crawl, all of this much earlier than Lucy ever did. Molly is also STRONG: I have to wrestle her constantly to get her not to grab everything in sight. I often end the day exhausted, needing to ice down my arms. She's really tough. She's also starting to try to communicate (well, if you can call two-way raspberries communicating) and showing signs of recognizing friends and family and responding differently to all. She's also clearly got a mischevious sense of humor similar to her sister's. Speaking of Lucy, she's reaching new levels of creativity and humor, making up ridiculous songs and jokes, and dancing in any old way she feels at any time or place. She's really a free spirit, and its fun for her parents to sit back and just watch her go.

November went by too fast, I think because I spent most of it chasing Molly around the house. She figured out how to crawl, and in no time she was off like a shot, and frankly, I'm feeling a little winded. She's fearless (people often ask us if we see a difference in the two girls....well, Molly is going to need a helmet and pads long before her older sister will), and is already trying to climb everything in sight. I suspect it won't be long before she joins her Uncle Chris skiing and climbing all over the Cascades. Lucy, on the other hand, is more content to sit and read, sing and tell stories. Without intending to, the pictures I took this month really show the different personalities of our girls....and some pictures just show how lovely they are.
