Hello Everyone,
Well, October was such a busy month, I had to work hard to cut the photos down to "just" 36. I had twice that many to choose from. It seems like Lucy grew up a lot this month and experienced a lot. She understands seasons now, and loves Fall, talking about the colorful leaves and wind and rain everyday...we've gone on lots of Autumn walks. She also thinks pumpkins and the patches they grow in are about the coolest places on Earth...we went to two patches, and she spent a lot of time choosing just the right pumpkins, and then carried her small one around for days. Halloween, with the costumes, parties and trick or treating has turned Lucy into a candyholic: she starts every morning with a request for candycorn for breakfast.

October was also packed with lots of snuggle time, and Lucy and her mother together feature prominently in the photos this month. I included a series of Black & Whites of the two of them together on the couch, reading a story and making faces....I couldn't pick a best one: they look better together. So, enjoy the photos, and swing by some time and say hi to Lucy (and the rest of us).

Hello Everyone...

This has been a weird weather month here: Seattle broke it's all time rain record (amazing), floods all over the state, and now we end with snow. Lucy has become as enamored of weather as her dad...she often asks to see the weather report on TV, and to have the weather section of the paper in front of her during breakfast. I love that girl...

Pictures this month feature beautiful sunset walks on San Juan Island, beach-combing with grandparents, playing in the snow, and Thanksgiving with family. A bonus (hoping Chris and Erica don't mind) are a few pictures of Lucy's cousin Avery that I happened to take this month as well. She's just so cute, and the audience for Lucy is basically the same as for Avery, I figure.
