January 06, New Photos

You will note, among other things in the photos this month, two big themes: lucy in pig tails (too cute, so her mom does it often) and Lucy in a yellow rain coat: it has been insanely wet around here. Nevertheless, we got out to play a lot...either in the rain, or at places to avoid the rain, such as the Museum of Flight, the Aquarium, or just our basement.
Lucy's creating full sentences now, pretty much everyday, and she talks and giggles a lot. It's not all roses: she's also acting "two" much earlier than expected: "NO!" rings throughout our household, in the car (to pretty much every song we put on) and out and about town. It is good to see her develop such a strong will...but we can see we are clearly entering a new, unavoidable stage of parenthood. But the truth is it's pretty cool to see her assert herself.
