[img:729126]Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, everyone, from Lucy and her parents!
December was a busy month, with lots of visits from grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins, and friends. Lucy got lots of gifts, including many fun toys, cute stuffed animals, excellent books, cute clothes, and beautiful hand-made sweaters, hats, and shawls from her various talented grandmothers.
This month was very cold to begin with, and then very wet here at the end, so we had to find a lot of things to do indoors. We spent time at the aquarium, and we practically moved in to the Seattle Center: the Science Center, the Center House, and the Children's Museum. We have a new found appreciation for this marvelous holdover from the '62 world's fair. A GREAT place for children when the weather's crummy.
Lucy keeps learning, growing and changing at an amazing pace. Her longest sentence now is "I don't know where Chuckie is" which she says even while holding the (increasingly ragged) dog.
One of her biggest highlights of the season has been to drive around and look at the various holiday lights people have put up. "OOOOH, LIGHTS!" she calls from the back. It's very satisfying. She asks to go out every night now; we don't know what we're gonna do when the lights come down.
Check out the latest photos in the December Holiday Photo album in the Gallery. Cheers!
