Well, October just ended with Lucy as a frog. Her Halloween costume was so successful, and she loved it so much she wore it for three days, including a full day at daycare (where she was the only baby in costume, but didn't seem self-conscious about it in the slightest).

Along the way this month, she played a lot in the park, got a soccer ball to kick around (which she loves to do and say - "kick!"), became a much more confident walker, and continued to eat everything she could lay her hands on. She talks constantly, long strings of sentences we don't understand, but often with words mixed in that we do. Three word phrases pop up occasionally - "where mommy car?" and "walk with daddy" are our favorites. Actually, they're stunned at daycare with how much she talks, but, well, you know her parents....

Check out the pictures and enjoy. And, if you haven't visited Lucy lately, come see us. She's changing so quickly.

7 New pictures in the Black and White Gallery. 22 new pictures in the October 05 Gallery.

November Pictures

Posted by lucy_gerston at 02:09 PM on November 30, 2005.

Welcome to another month of "As Lucy Turns", literally. One of her favorite activities nowadays is to spin around and fall on her butt. In fact, sometimes, she squats, pauses while looking at her parents with a grin, and launches herself backwards just to see how big a bang she can get while landing on her behind. This sends us into peals of laughter, which is of course just what she wants. She seems to really enjoy finding ways to make us laugh. Her vocabulary, too, is growing daily...we've long since lost track of the new words. Two and three word phrases and simple sentences ("daddy's car" "Hello, Mommy" " walk with daddy" "sleepy chuck" and lots of others) are more and more common, and we simply can't believe how fast this is all happening. You hear other parents talk about it, but it's so odd and dizzying to see your own child grow and learn and change daily.

There are less photos this month...I've been busy...but look for five new Black and Whites in that gallery, and eleven new color photos in the November Gallery. Enjoy!
